• Start your voyage with a special staff-training meeting—we’ll make sure it’s fun.
• Become familiar with the helpful material in the Spotlight VBS Leader Manual, and be ready to be an awesome VBS photographer!
• Look over your Photographer’s Script, and gather the props required for special photo shots.
• Meet Crews at the first session of Ship Rec Games each day to take pictures of kids in specific poses, according to your script.
• Use the Spotlight VBS templates (found at highseas.group.com/spotlight), and drop in your photos to create a super cool presentation—it’s so easy!
• Set up the necessary equipment to run the Spotlight VBS show that’ll wow the kids and volunteers at Floating Finale each day.

• Check with your VBS Director to see if you’ll be e-mailing the Spotlight VBS show home to families each day.

• Be ready to lead children through some incredible and fun interactive skits and learning activities that really make the Bible stories come alive in four sessions of Bible Voyage each day.
• Recruit one or two “sidekick” assistants to help with the skits.
• Use the Bible Point often, and hear kids shout an enthusiastic “Let’s go!”

• Be ready to enthusiastically lead The Floating Finale for the entire High Seas Expedition at the end of each day, with lots of fun-filled activities that help kids discover more about God’s mighty love.
• Be a go-to person for the High Seas Expedition Director when extra help is needed.

• Have fun decorating the Goodies From the Galley area for serving and eating snacks.
• Have fun cleaning up the Goodies From the Galley area after snacks are served!
• Use the Bible Point often as you work with the kids, and hear kids shout an enthusiastic “Let’s go!”

• Help recruit and lead a wonderful team of four Preschool Station Leaders.
• Lead an enthusiastic team of Crew Leaders who will guide preschoolers in fun Bible-learning activities.
• Help Station Leaders gather necessary supplies and plan setup for each preschool station.
• Be available each day to oversee, encourage, and pitch in where needed to help preschoolers have a blast at High Seas Expedition.

• Hand out a keepsake Bible Memory Buddy each day, with the day’s Bible verse printed on it.
